Our academic readiness evaluations are designed to:
- Determine readiness of preschool children for Kindergarten (i.e. Does a child meet the eligibility criteria for early entry into Kindergarten?)
- Identify academically gifted students
- Assist gifted students and their families to learn just how much ahead of the curve the students’ abilities truly are.
- Help students, parents, and school administrators determine if it is appropriate to allow a student to skip grade(s).
Test Accomodations
The purpose of accommodations is to allow equal access to the standardized testing programs (e.g., MCAT, GRE, SAT). Test Accommodations Evaluations (e.g. , psychoeducational or cognitive evaluation) can determine the presence of an impairment that may be alleviated by an auxiliary aid or adjustment to a standardized testing procedure. Our role is to provide data to help administrators assess the need for accommodations that would “match up” with any identified functional limitations.
